Big Idea: Heat can be created or absorbed by chemical reactions.
1. Warm-up: Define equilibrium. Explain how to shift equilibrium to right or left.
2. Thermo demos (burning matches, hot and cold packs)
3. Stoichiometry with combustion reactions (balancing equations where combustion happens). Ask Dr. Rico for the examples.
